He was predeceased by: his parents, Zachariah Gairey and Lillian Gairey (Mildred Spann Gairey); and his siblings, Ansel Gairey and Eva Gairey. He is survived by: his wife Mildred E. Gairey; his children, Glen J. Gairey, Jr. (Lisa), Charlene L. Gairey and Darren E. Gairey; his niece Dana Newell (Mark) of Greenville, NC; his grandchildren, Bria D. Williams, Jordan T. Gairey, Jada E. Gairey and Makayla D. Gairey; and his great grandchild Bella Williams. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchild.
