She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas and Emma Sue Gaskins; and her siblings, William Thomas Gaskins, John Albert Gaskins and Dorothy Elizabeth Gaskins Savage.

She is survived by: her son Bill; her grandchildren, Celia Marie and William Henry VI; her son Tibbs V (Gloria); and her grandchildren, Celia Tibbs of Kernersville, NC and William H. Tibbs VI of Winston Salem.
