With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley A. Hannon of Elmira Heights, New York, born in Elmira, New York, who passed away on August 16, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Comfort and Barbara Presher Comfort VanTreese; her siblings, Sharon Loos, Gary and Robert Comfort; her stepfather Elmer "John" VanTreese; and her great grandchild Ava Phillips.
She is survived by: her husband George Hannon; her children, George Hannon Jr., Lorrie (Tim Cribb), Christine Hannon and Kimberly (Gary Shearer); her grandchildren, Jordan Phillips, Adam and Allison Shearer; and her great grandchildren, Keegan Phillips, Jordan Hill-Phillips and Emery Phillips. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
