It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nichole Backus (Elmira Heights, New York), born in Elmira, New York, who passed away on January 26, 2020, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, David Backus and Donna Backus (Lattin); her children, Britney Slater (Brian Wilcox) of Lindley, Isabella Jaynes of Montour Falls and Austin Jackson of Erin; her granddaughter Genevieve Slater; and her sister Renee Backus of Elmira Heights. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
