Dieffenbach of Elmira Heights, New York, born in Laporte, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 1, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Gray and Lillian Gray (Maley); her husband Earl; her son Alan; her sister Ann; her brothers-in-law, Martin Bahr and Leonard Schultz; and her niece Tammy Peters.

She is survived by: her daughters, JoAnn Parisi of Horseheads, Tina Dieffenbach and Karen Vischansky of Towanda, PA; her grandsons, Thomas Sano (Amy) of Horseheads and Nicholas Sano of Elmira Heights; her great grandchild Michael Campbell of Horseheads; her siblings, Constance Schultz of LaPorte, PA and Lyle; her sister-in-law Shirley Gray of Baltimore, MD; and her close friend Delores Wilcox of Elmira Heights.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Marilyn through donations to any local animal shelters.
