He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Kingsley and Beatrice Biddle Kingsley; his brother Russell Kingsley; and his grandson James E. Wells II. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Keel Kingsley; his son Richard D. Kingsley (Carol); his grandchildren, Thomas, Andrew, Kaitlyn Kingsley and Victoria Brown; his daughter Susan E. Montalvo; his grandchildren, Neiko and Gino Caelan Montalvo; his siblings-in-law, Donna, Jack Fivie and Diane Rodabaugh; his brother John Douglas Kingsley; and also, Naomi J. Avery (Andrew), Collin and Connor Avery. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren: several nieces, nephews and cousins.
