He was predeceased by: his wife Marie McHugh; his son Michael (Michelle); his siblings, John, Vincent, Edward and Catherine; and his brother-in-law Martin Kelly.

He is survived by: his children, Jeanie Johns (Jim), Daniel (Carolyn), Thomas (Carol), Margo Jack (Russ), Patrick (Cindy) and Timothy (Debbie); and his sisters-in-law, Arlene and Mary.
