He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Rowan and Hilda Rowan (Chittenden); his wife Barbara Murray of Oswego; his sister Lois Wiegand; his brothers-in-law, Jerry Sanderson and Robert Wiegand; and his close friend Casey Gilbert.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Hartman, Candise Rowan, Traci Rowan, George, Michele Rowan and Cregg Rowan (Joellen Clark); his great grandchildren, Matthew Hartman, Andria Hartman and Andrew Gage; his brother Robert Rowan; and his sister-in-law Sylvia Rowan. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren.
