He is survived by: his parents, Steven E. Steele and Lea A. Steele Sr. (Hammill); his wife Sabrina A. Steele; his brother Matthew Steele; and his stepdaughter Brittany Palmer. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Steven's name to St. Judes childrens hospital or a charity of the donor's choice.
