It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert P. Engel (East Greenbush, New York), who passed away on September 18, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul J. Engel and Ruth Engel (Parker); his wife Virginia Engel (O'Brien); and his siblings, James, Ruth "Sis" Mone and Paul.

He is survived by: his sons, Stephen (Terri) and Gregory (Abby); his brother Leonard Engel (Joan); and his grandchildren, Derek (Alissa), Brienne, Conner, Brody, Mahra Davidson and Christopher.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bob's memory to The Community Hospice Foundation, 310 S. Manning Boulevard, Albany, NY 12208.
