He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard V. Clifford and Jeanne Noble Clifford. He is survived by: his wife Joan Schrader Clifford; his son Gregory J. Clifford of East Greenbush; his brothers, David V. Clifford (Nicole) of New Canaan, CT and Timothy S. Clifford (Lisa) of Guilderland; his siblings-in-law, Michele, Robert Bouchey of Waterford and Donna Mullahey of Clifton Park; his nieces and nephews, Patrick Mullahey, Rachael Healey, Robby Bouchey, Harry, Casey, Christian and John Clifford; and his pet Lillian.
