He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John and Ann Hines, Sr. (Wright); his wife Beverly Barner Hines; his stepson James Knowles, II; his grandson James Knowles, III; his sisters, Helene DePalma (Thomas) and Margaret "Maggie" Smith (late Robert); and his brothers-in-law, Ronald Barner (Karen), Richard Barner (Valerie), John Barner (Barbara) and Michael Barner. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins.
