He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his grandchildren, Callan, Max and Eli Smith; his stepmother Ellen Canfield; his siblings, James Canfield (Cindy) and Thomas Canfield; and his stepsisters, Judy Durante (David) and Cindy Stadelmeyer (late Joseph). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
