She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Schoenfeld and Rita Schoenfeld. She is survived by: her husband John W. Johnston; her children, Robert Johnston (Laura), Laura Weiss (Jason), Anne Johnston (Michael Spoonley), Jack, Emma and Carson; and her siblings, Sandra Saxton, Karen Berger (Howard), Jane Tomaschke (Carl) and Gail Bunce (Dean). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
