He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Nina M.; his children, Eileen Smith (Marc), Keith D'Arcy (Cindy) and Daniel D'Arcy; his grandchildren, Shannon Morgan (Dan), Darci Smith (Ryan McCrory), Ethan Smith (Katie), Derek, Brooke and Darren D'Arcy; and his siblings, Jean Schoenhals (Jim), Marjorie Blake (late Jack) and Gail D'Arcy.
