He was predeceased by: his brother Robert Sawicki (Patricia). He is survived by: his children, Laura Claude (Vince), Kevin Sawicki and Susan Giafaglione (Joseph); his granddaughter Zoe Giafaglione; and his siblings, K. Michael Sawicki (Karen), Dennis Sawicki and Cynthia Kerestes (Thomas). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Rural Outreach Center or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
