She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Pompender and Mary Pompender; her husband Robert; and her son Frederick. She is survived by: her daughter Valerie Champlin; her nieces, Miyrim Ortolano and Maryann Kluch; and her nephew Alan Shaw.

In remembrance of Sarah, donations may be made to Lakeshore Animal Rescue Shelter or Westfield Stray Cat Rescue.
