With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norman P. Schmidt of Dunkirk, New York, who passed away on December 30, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Schmidt and Bernice Kubiak; and his siblings, Ronald Schmidt, Carol Schmidt and Linda Clark.
He is survived by: his brother James Schmidt; and his nieces and nephews, Lee Schmidt (Tracy), Colleen Schmidt (Rick Jensen), Kevin Schmidt (Laura), Steven Schmidt, Jeff Cushman (Wanda), Kirk Schmidt (Suzanne), Garth Schmidt, Jennifer Schmidt and Cynthia Clark.
He served on the committee, donated the beverages every year and roasted many a pig for the event.
