He was predeceased by: his parents, Rafael R. Salgado and Carmen Salgado (Colon); his siblings, Rafael Salgado Jr., Gricelios Salgado and Nancy Salgado; and his niece Christian Salgado.
He is survived by: his wife Aida Rivera of Dunkirk; his stepchildren, Jennifer Bak (Robert Wisniewski) of Dunkirk, Paige Plaza (Julian Aponte) of Dunkirk and Joshua Plaza (Islandah Mitchell); his grandchildren, Chloe Wisniewski, Mason Wisniewski, Aubrey Wisniewski, Valyncia Plaza, Joshua Plaza Jr. and Zayn'nova Plaza Mercado; and his siblings, Ariel Salgado (Cecilia) of Coatesville, Ramon Salgado (Karen Swogar) of Jacksonville, Fla., Ada Maldonaldo (Manuel) of Jacksonville, Fla. and Maria Cruz (Juan) of Spring Hill, Fla.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
