He is survived by: his wife Sherry Ecker (Lawyer); his brother Stephen Dans (Denise); his son Anthony Dans (Emily) of Candor; his stepson Mark Ecker (Joyel) of Cortlandville; his grandchildren, Markie, Leah, Jack, Blake, Azlinn and Briar; his stepson Daryl Thaler (Arlene) of Cayuga; and his grandchildren, Aja, Christian and Veronica. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
