He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Haney and Flora Green Haney; his daughter Dawn Haney; and his brothers, William and Lyle Haney.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Bielecki Haney of Dryden, NY; his son John David Haney (Marin) of Vermont; and his brother Michael Haney (Joanne) of Wisconsin. He is also survived by five nieces, two nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
