It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Walton Shirk of Dobbs Ferry, New York, who passed away on September 5, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, George Stanley Shirk, III of Westminster, MD, Peter Johnston Shirk and Julia MacInnes Shirk Williams (Sam) of Acton, MA; her grandchildren, Robert Cannon, Ellyn Shirk of Florida, Alexandra Williams of Onan, Japan and Elizabeth Williams of Boston, MA; her sister Janet Eggers (Henry) of Laguna Beach, CA; her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Choate (David Wood), Robert Shirk (Lolieta), Allison Eggers (Marc Eigenmann), John Walton, Jr. (Ann), Sarah Lynn Walton, Annie Walton-Robb, Michael Walton and Cathie Walton-Fieser (Steve); her husband George S. Shirk, Jr.; her brother John Walton, Sr.; her sister-in-law Jane Ann Shirk Choate; her nephew Jonathan Choate; her brother-in-law James Shirk; and her mother Against Drunk Drivers. She was also cherished by many great-nieces/nephews.
