With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herman Achtziger of Derby, New York, who passed away on January 31, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother William Achtziger; and his parents, William Achtziger and Lena Achtziger. He is survived by: his wife Alice Achtziger (Kinney); his children, George Achtziger (Melinda Tatford), Jayne Gannon (Michael) and Diane Winter (James); his grandchildren, Jennifer DiFiglia (Joe), Gloria Deionno (Jerry), Michael Gannon (Sarah), Christopher Gannon (Alisha), Cara Achtziger, Jesse Gannon (Margaret), Hanna Winter and Sarah Gannon; his great grandchildren, Georgia, Isabella, Jack, Joshua, Cooper, Marlie, Piper and Braelyn; and his siblings, Charlotte Comstock, Paul Achtziger (Heather) and Hank Oswald. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
