He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian Deck; and his sibling Marion Kidder (Alvin). He is survived by: his children, Charles Deck (Robin), Suzanne Flament (Lindsay), Michael Deck, Cynthia Stephan (Vernon), Scott Deck (Maria) and Maureen Cephas (Gary); his sisters, Norma Schlueter (late Carl), Joan Gebhardt (Robert) and Kathleen Monzo (Charles); his brother-in-law Charles Nicholls (Darolyn); and his close friend Raymond Kurtz (Margaret). He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later date, following the pandemic.
Memorial contributions may be made in Charles memory to either St. Jude's Hospital or Boys Town.
