It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon A. Hakes (Corning, New York), who passed away on March 10, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jeremiah Hakes Sr. and Anna Hakes (DuVall); and his siblings, William, Walter, Bernard, Raymond, George Jr. Hakes and Kathleen Sprague.
He is survived by: his pet Ty; the mother of his child Gloria Hakes; his daughters, Suzanne Whalen, Linda Bailey (John), Theresa Drumm (James) and Donna Hakes Cavallaro; and his grandchildren, Danielle Roberts (Craig), Brian, Anthony Whalen, Chase, Dillon Bailey (Lexi), Jamie, Natalie Drumm, Tony (Jenna) and Tylor Cavallaro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and the love.
