It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard H. Burdo (Colonie, New York), born in Schenectady, New York, who passed away on March 9, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert J. Burdo and Frieda Smith-Burdo; and his brother Robert J. Burdo Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Christine M. Kennedy, Michael Burdo (Valerie) and Donna Royer (Lonnie); his grandchildren, Danielle Elson (Gar), Brandi Kasper (Matthew), Jessica Hallenbeck (Christopher) and Ryan Royer; his great grandchildren, Evan Frescatore and Braelyn Kasper; and his siblings, Harold (Alice), Barbara Brown (Ernile), Larry (Jeanette) and Donald (Sandy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and his Bluegrass family.
In lieu of flowers a Go-Fund-Me account has been set up to assist in the numerous non-covered medical expenses.
