He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Hotaling and Nettie Hotaling (Ginder); his wife Matilda S. Hotaling; and his stepson Gordon "Jay" Vrooman. He is survived by: his children, Dianna Wilson and Donald H. Hotaling II (Tina); and his stepdaughters, Virginia "Ginny" Blue (Charlie) and Tina McConville (Stephen). He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
