He is survived by: his parents, Albert R. Burkhart Jr. and Helga M. Burkhart; his wife Chandra Lee Burkhart; his children, Emma L. Burkhart and Albert R. Burkhart IV; and his sisters, Kristina Reilly and Catherine Burkhart. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
