It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda L. Hamilton of Cohocton, New York, born in Canandaigua, New York, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence White and Nellie White (Waterstraw); and her brother Christopher White. She is survived by: her husband Jim Hamilton of Cohocton; her children, Bucky Austin (Molly) and Cheryl Mehlenbacher (Todd) of Cohocton; her grandchildren, Jennifer Smyder (Tommy) of Cohocton, Tyler Austin (Tamara) of Geneseo, Alex Austin of Springwater and Kyle Mehlenbacher (Jennifer Harrell) of Wayland; her great grandchildren, Lily and Haley Smyder; and her brother Skip White of Honeoye. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and her beloved dog.

Mandatory social distancing, facial covering, and no physical contact policies will be in effect at the funeral home.

Contributions in memory of Linda L. Hamilton may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, Wheels For Life Event, Cohocton.
