It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Diaz of Cincinnatus, New York, who passed away on March 23, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Smith and Minnie Monroe Smith; her husband Joe Diaz; and her brothers, Robert, Louis and Lloyd Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Diaz of Cincinnatus, Sally Diaz of Savona, Ruth Credno (Mike) of Baldwinsville and Jimmie Diaz of San Francisco, CA.; and her sisters, Violet Tracey of Cincinnatus and Metta Diaz of Cincinnatus. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a. m. until the start of the service at 1:00 p. m. NYS Covid-19 guidelines will be followed. Masks must be worn and social distancing will be in place.
