She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Cookhouse and Clinton Cookhouse. She is survived by: her husband Earl Combes of Norwich, NY; her children, Becky of Fulton, NY and Michael of Munnsville, NY; her pets, Midnight, Lee and Lincoln; and her siblings, Clinton Jr. Cookhouse (Buki) of Syracuse, Clara Saunders of Liverpool, Joseph Cookhouse (Kitt) of Cazenovia, Peter Cookhouse of Manlius, Arlene Cookhouse of Fayetteville and Faye Cookhouse of Fayetteville.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any children's organization in her name.
