He was predeceased by: his parent Lewis Burt; his wife Ida; and his siblings, Raymond, Beverly Woodmansee and Lorraine Whitten.
He is survived by: his parent Sara Snodgrass Burt; his children, Susan Cuff (Jeffrey) of Webster, MA and Roger Burt (Terry) of Readville, VA.; his grandchildren, Brian Cuff (Tiffany), Amy Cuff, James Burt (Kayla), Justin Burt (Jennifer), Georgina Dow and Virginia Mozingo; his great grandchildren, Nathan, Kinsley, Cohen, Caroline, Logan and Rian; his sister-in-law Irene Burt; and also Otselic. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
