He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Smith and Dorothy Baker Smith; and his sisters, Lucy Crolius and Marna Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Janice L. Smith (Carter); his children, Debra Blanchard (Jeffrey) of Pitcher, Kelly Price (Chet) of Salem, MO, Jeffrey D. Smith (Kelly) of Licking, MO and Jeremy D. Smith (Heather) of Powhaten, VA.; and his sister Joanne Bowman (Melvin) of Castle Creek. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.
