It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria M. Hickson of Cincinnatus, New York, born in Garden City, New York, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Olsen and Laura Ridge Olsen; her husband Mel Hickson, Sr.; her daughters, Cheryl Hickson and Denise Contri; and her siblings, Laurita, Arthur and Glenn.
She is survived by: her significant other Dale Collier of German; her children, Linda Northrup (Randy) of McDonough, Edward Munro (Cheryl) of Taylor, Mel Hickson, Jr. (Diane) of Georgia, Bonnie Bonham (Neal, Jr.) of Pitcher, Karie White (Timothy) of German and Levi Hickson of German; and her son-in-law William Contri of Marathon. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
