He is survived by: his wife Debbie Porter (Beauregard); his son Stephen A. Porter; his sisters, Mary Elizabeth "Bess" Johnson (Eric), Julie Porter, Beatrice Porter and Emily Swarner (Scott); his sisters-in-law, Kathleen Porter, Susan Turner (Tim), JoAnne Rogers (Bill), Nancy Verni (Donald) and Lisa Heydt (Todd); his nieces and nephews, Katherine Metzler (Peter), Sarah Porter (Josef Bartels), Zoe Johnson, Natalie Swarner, Gina, Olivia Verni, Tonya Erdle, Mark and Ben Heydt; his great-nieces, Cora, Suzanna and Georgia Metzler; his cousin Peter Zegler; and his friends, Daniel Mudrynski (Penny), Robert (Sue), Dennis Schultz (Charlene), Matt Kyle (Shannon), Kathy Riggs Allen (Mark) and Ben Thering (Laura).
