He was predeceased by: his parents, Kennith Read and Helen (Huston); and his brothers, Fred and Larry. He is survived by: his wife Heather Read; his children, Kim Flaherty (Bryan), Brian Read (Michelle) and Don Read Jr. (Molly); his grandchildren, James Hodge, Jessica Hodge, Coty Read, Jenna Read, Russel Flaherty and Ryan Flaherty; his brother Kennith Read; his sister-in-law Barbara Read; and his parents-in-law, George and Bunny Sterzelczyk. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
