He is survived by: his parent-in-law Jean Gridley; his wife Jean; his sons, Christopher Schermerhorn (Gina) of Indiana and Brian Schermerhorn (Rose) of Cherry Valley; his grandchildren, Jessakka Mraz (Joe), Christopher II, Zachary, Mathieu Schermerhorn, Richard and Jordan Edwards; and his great grandchildren, Rosalie Schermerhorn, Ellie Mraz, Kevin Van Buren, Steve Tines and Bob Tines.
