He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carpenter; his children, Carol (Gene Baldwin), Sheila (Randy Burgholzer), Wendy (David Richardson) and Rev. David Carpenter, Jr. (Rebecca); his brother Charles Carpenter; his grandchildren, Jade Schultz (Amber Mitchell), Adam Schultz (Julie), Rachel (Dan Ouellette), Anna Burgholzer, Cassy Brackett, Kristy (Kristofer Downes), Steven Richardson, William (Alisha Carpenter) and Elizabeth Carpenter; and his great grandchildren, PeggyAnn Schultz, Reilly Mitchell, Aiden Klink, Tanner Ouellette, Gami, Ahna, Coco, Nini Brackett, Brantley, Laylah Downes, Caleb, Jace, Rylen and Addison Carpenter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
