She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kirk Severance and Eleanor Severance (Cross); her husband Raymond Messenger, Sr.; her children, Nancy Strickland (Ronald) of Port Charolotte, FL, Carol Sheldon of Plattsburgh, Donna Barnaby (Gary) of Chazy Lake, Barbara Corey (James) of Altona, Sharon Barnaby (Timothy) of Chazy Lake and Raymond Messenger, Jr. of Ellenburg Depot; and her siblings, Linda Lachapelle of Longmeadow, MA, Willard Severance and Carlton Severance. She was also cherished by 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
