He is survived by: his siblings, Patrick, Maureen and Eamon King; his sons, Michael, John and Andrew; and his daughter-in-law Patricia.
He even continued to hone his skills with a writing group during the pandemic over Zoom calls.
In lieu of flowers, and to continue John's passion of charitable giving, the family asks that you donate in John's honor to Wounded Warriors, The Parkinson's Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
