He was predeceased by: his parents, William McCadden and Ethel Knight McCadden; and his siblings, Emmett, John, Raymond, Leona Farron and Sheila Colbert.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Kramer McCadden; his sister Lois O'Neil (James); his children, Joy Martin (John Baker), Jill Martin (Stephen Coates) and Jeffrey Martin (Beata); his grandchildren, Elise and Christopher Coates; and his children, Elizabeth and Aleksander Martin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
