With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard E. Hills of Cato, New York, born in Johnsburg, New York, who passed away on May 8, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Hills and Gladys Armstrong Hills; his siblings, Joyce Meng and John Hills; and his children-in-law, Thomas Halliday and Gretchen Hills.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Miner Hills; his children, Brenda Halliday, Diane Townsend Susan (Bradley), Paula Hills (Patty), Jeffrey Hills (Robin) and Gregory Hills (Heather); and his siblings, Lois Ann Yandon and Donald Hills. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Richard's name to Cato Christian Fellowship 2570.
