He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J. Goyette and Arelene F. Root Goyette. He is survived by: his children, Amber Dean (Joshua) of Cato, Joshua Goyette (Nicole) of Cato and Ryan Goyette (Amber Van Luven) of Throop; his siblings, Gary Goyette of Cato, Mark Goyette (Lauri), Tom Goyette (Sharon) of Cato, Jerry Goyette (Lauri) of Cato and Terri Berkeley (Russ) of Binghamton; and his grandchildren, Brayden, Tyler and Delanie Goyette. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
