She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Raymond Pearce and Mary Ammon Pearce Emes; her sister June Boudette; her brother-in-law Dick Sheckler; her son-in-law Richard Leff; and her grandson Nicholas Hersey.
She is survived by: her stepfather George Emes; her husband Addison Calvin Sheckler; her close friend Calvin; her children, Cole (Caryn Sheckler), Susan Leff, Melinda (Jack Bolinski), Gwyn (Al Weaver), Beth Irene Sheckler (Scott Brennan), Alicia Hersey, Kate Sheckler, Chad (Diane Sheckler), Brett Sheckler, Ross (Cynthia Sheckler) and Jesse (Donna Sheckler); her sister Dorothy Cassidy (Dottie); and her sisters-in-law, Alva Hayes and Sandra Suld. She is also survived by mother to her 11 children, grandmother to her 38 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
