He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene H. Nichols, Sr. and Virginia B. Fink; and his sisters, Linda J. Nichols and Donna M. Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Nichols (Cornell); his daughter Laurie A.; his son-in-law Eric C. Schultz; and his granddaughter McKenna N. Schultz. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
