He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Scouten and Edna P. Forbes Scouten; his sister Mary Lou Scouten; and his son Robert Aurthur "Artie" Wilder. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Rathbun Scouten; and his children, Brenda S. Wilder, Darleen M. Keller and Jack B. Wilder Scouten. He is also survived by four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, a great great grandchild.
