It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ames (Canton, New York), born in Madrid, New York, who passed away on May 21, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Murray and Elva Murray; and her siblings, Herbert, Lyle, Jesse, Floyd, Patricia and Pauline.
She is survived by: her daughters, Robin Finn (Rich) of Fountain Hills, AZ and Penny Ames (Tom) of Potsdam; her grandchildren, Ryan (Jackie), Reid Finn and Jessica Ames of Potsdam; and her sister Melinda Wilson of Louisville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
