With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon A. Gauthier (Canton, New York), born in Massena, New York, who passed away on September 19, 2019 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph T. Derouchie and Gertrude Derouchie (Narrow); her daughter Darcie Ashley; and her siblings, Gary "Joey" Derouchie, Lloyd Richards, Jerry Richards, Goldie Richards and Mary Richards.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Gauthier; her children, Jodi, Jeff White of Brasher Falls, Lyette, Kyle Taillon of Winthrop, Chad and Michelle Gauthier of Winthrop; her adoptive son James Hartford, Sr. of Massena; her son-in-law Steve Ashley; her grandchildren, Ryan White, Stephanie White, Chelsea, Jordan Foote, Courtney Ashley, Taylor Gauthier, Caitlin Ashley, Bailee Gauthier and Jonas Crasa; her great grandchild Jax Ashley; and her brothers, Leon Richards of Bombay and Ralph Richards of Bombay. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and good friends.
