He was predeceased by: his brother Wayne Ames; and his parents, Robert Ames and Edna Rose Ames. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ames; his children, Michael Collins (Karen), Patrick Collins (Kristen Flynn) and Leann Hance (Jim); his brother Ed Ames; and his sister-in-law Rennie Ames. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
