He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Santimaw and Elizabeth Santimaw (Preston); and his siblings, Paul Santimaw, Alice Lehman, Doris Rosenbarker and James Santimaw.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Santimaw (Van Allen); his children, James Santimaw (Angelique) of Canton, NY, Jennifer Peters (John) of Victor, NY and Darcy Santimaw of Hallowell; his grandchildren, Dustin VanHouse (Christina) of Coxsackie, NY, Sawyer Santimaw, Preston Santimaw of Canton, NY, Matthew Peters and Madison Peters of Victor, NY.; and his sister Marcia Bouissey of Plattsburgh, NY. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Canton Rescue Squad or Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
